murakami rant.

so I saw MURAKAMI's exhibit at the Brooklyn Museum in 2008. I was impressed by the QUANTITY of work. i dunno, i guess he's just not my thing... I am a fan of most art with an eye or fetish theme...but he definitely bastardized it with this...

i mean, i get it. he's popular....

but now from sept-dec he's doing a french retrospective at the chateau de versailles. im sorry but keep your anime inspired mushrooms out of gorgeous baroque architecture. if i see one of your "superflat" paintings inside the hall of mirrors...i may go blind.
