he founded the Heartbreakers, then was elbowed out by Johnny Thunders.
he formed the Voidoids, and finally rooted himself in the spotlight.
he was a fashion icon, an actor, a bass player/frontman, and he was also kind of a pessimistic junkie. but he's too smart for his own good, and he bleeds words. now he's published his own novels, short stories, lyrics, poems etc etc etc.
he's Richard Hell, and he can do what he wants.
